The Baumann Family

It was such a treat to have some of Duane's family come to our house for Thanksgiving (we missed the rest of you!!!) and for Amberlie's blessing that same weekend. It was fun wrestling with the turkey and watching Duane do some more cooking. He has really been into cooking lately and loves to find and try new recipes. His favorite thing to make is chocolate chip cookies. But he has also made chocolate pie and cinnamon rolls. Thanks for coming and having a great Thanksgiving with us Arthur, Genevieve and Debbie!!!

Genevieve was also able to come and help me out when I had my surgery back in October. I had my gallbladder removed. Mom did a great job taking care of my 6-week old baby for 3 whole days and more while I recovered and relaxed. Thank you Mom-Baumann for dropping everything for us and helping us out more than you know!!! We love you!

Whenever I get comments from people about Amberlie they always say she looks just like Duane. In fact, I have almost nicknamed her Duana (doo-on-a). But, we really think she looks like her Aunts - Debbie and Roselle because of her dark hair! Just look at the picture of Aunt Debbie above. I can't wait to get together with Aunt Roselle and get a picture with her also. We must have been inspired to name her either Kay or Rose for her middle name! She does have a little bit of me in her too - like her porcelain skin and being solemn (my mom always says I was a very solemn baby). But, overall, she is definitely a Baumann - and we love every bit of her!

This picture is for Debbie. She gave the boys these small dinosaurs that they put in water and grew to be this big. I wish I would have taken a picture of them before they grew! Thanks Debbie, the boys had a blast watching them grow.
